We caught up with Manner Moreno to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

The freedom to create whatever crazy things I want to!

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like & what gear do you typically use?

My studio is very simple, an IMac, A Shure SM7B, IRig midi keys, a guitar, a bass, a ukulele, and an attitude. As far as an engineer...I only trust my homie D-SIK.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

Production is amazing and I love it but my favorite part of being a musician is performing for people.

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

My latest project is a love letter to my wife and daughter.

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I like to plan my music releases months in advance to keep myself accountable to work hard and stay productive.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Do you have any releases planned or future gigs?

In the next six months, you can find me at open mics and small venues all around the south Florida area.

As for future releases, I am planning something for next August.

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

I don't have plans for any more music videos at the moment but I do have videos for my songs Lost Boi and This Quarantine which can be found on my YouTube page at Manner Music Productions.

Are there any collaborations past or future that you are excited about, producers, artists, instrumentalists, or songwriters?

I do have a few collaborators that I'm working with right now on songs but, I can't tell you who just yet.

Keep an eye on my Instagram @not_Manner to find out when I do say.

Which artists inspire your creative process?

I honestly get inspired by so many things but the most prominent is my personal experiences whether it be with a relationship, gig, or just life stories.

What are your top five favorite albums of all time? & Why those albums?

In no particular order...the Marshall Mathers LP2 by Eminem, 2045 Deluxe by Parris Chariz, and Vessel by Twenty One Pilots simply because they all tell stories so well and got me through different points in my life.

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup...Name someone who you think deserves a special shout out?

Shout out to my amazing videographer/photographer Brylon Terry, My Engineer D-SIK, My frequent collaborator and little bro PMB, and all my fans. I love you guys so much and I'm going to take you as far as I can with me.

Where can we find you on social media? Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Twitter?
