We caught up with Nardos Endale to talk about her music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

Let's get to it...

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

The freedom to create at my own time, in my own space.

I love being able to express my thoughts and emotions in my own way.

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

My studio is a hip hop nostalgia haven!

There are vintage hip hop magazine covers that cover the walls floor to ceiling!

And signatures in sharpie marker all over one wall from all the people who came and blessed the booth.

I am an engineer, so I produce my own music in my studio.

The LED lighting adds great ambiance and mood to the space.

It's truly my temple!

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I love recording and production more than anything!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

I would want people to describe it as a breath of fresh air, smooth, sexy, and soulful.

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I plan my releases as much as possible.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

I am working on a few visual projects...

And have some singles lined up for release.

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

I am really excited about directing my music videos and releasing them to the public!

I just recently released a video on YouTube titled "Internal Reflection" by Nardos Endale.

Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?

I worked with Buddy Mylez in 2020 out of NYC.

We did a collaboration song and visual, titled "Lion" by Buddy Mylez featuring myself.

I am very proud of that project, as it was very personal, and such a powerful track.

What inspires your creative process?

Everything about life inspires me...

Every single experience, emotion, etc.

What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
Bob Marley 'Exodus'
And Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience.

Those albums really inspired the producer and songwriter in me!

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?

I work very closely with RedMango Films for my visuals...

As well as The Dreamcatchers Media.

My sister, Babyy Gaines, owns her own beauty company, BeautyXBG, and does all of my hair and makeup...Those are my aces!

I trust them and they know me well so we work perfectly together.

Where can we find you on social media?

All of my social media is under Nardos_Endale or Nardos Endale.

My website is www.NardosEndale.com
