What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

Besides keeping my royalties...

I’ve enjoyed learning how to market my music by studying my audience and researching trends.

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

I’ve been going to the same studio since 2007 because they know my style and understand my brand.

Gremlin studio has a professional set up with the latest technology and expert engineers.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy performing and connecting live with my fans and audience...

But the real magic happens during recording session!

I like the small details that go into making every track!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

Strange, trippy, and intriguing!

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I usually plan to release music every year in December but sometimes I get ideas and will release a track when it’s finished.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

This summer I plan to tour and perform wherever destiny allows me to...

But I plan to release my next track in February!

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!

No videos in the works yet, but ideas are rolling!

Are there any collaborations past or future that you are excited about, producers, artists, instrumentalists or songwriters?

I've had many collaborations with artists in Mexico...

And I hope to feature some local Chicago artists next year!

What inspires your creative process?

I’m inspired by current events, trends, but most of all God.

What are your top three favorite albums of all time? Why those albums?

Chronic 2000, All Eyez On Me, and Street Dreams are my favourite albums of all times not only because they were the soundtracks to my adolescence...

But also because they were created by legends!

Who makes up your existing creative team?i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout out?

Me!!! I do everything on my own!
