What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?
I am an artist!
I like to be able to change my style however I want.
If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?
I normally go to a studio.
But before I do I pre record on my macbook using Logic Pro to see how it will sound before going.
Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?
I enjoy doing it all!
How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?
I'd like for people to say what I'm writing is more realistic and emotional.
Most people that hear my music can relate to or feel what I feel.
Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?
I just release them!
What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?
I am wanting to shoot a video for two of my songs which I plan to release.
Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?
I have two which I'm getting ready to make right now!
Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?
Yes, I have a few with friends back at home.
And my cousin who just started and he is really talented!
And my brother...
I have a few features with them waiting to be released.
What inspires your creative process?
I'd like to say my struggle and past relationships are my inspiration.
What are your top three favorite albums of all time and why those albums?
Ummm...I don't really have any favorite albums!
Due to most albums having songs that are hit and miss!
Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?
Mostly my team...
My boy, Sensei Profet...my cousin Johnny...my bro Jay Tero.
And my boy, K Royce.
