What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

Being able to call my own shots and having 100% creative control

And being able to take it as far as I want without feeling like I’m not meeting some sort of standard

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

Everything is mostly green and it looks like a space world with a lot of different things

I’m very inspired by everything from toys to equipment to puppets and etc.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy them all the same!

I love everything about making music...

From the good to the bad!

It’s all its own journey in itself, it all goes hand in hand, can’t have one without the other!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

"Bars, Substance, Flow, Viral Content , Amazing"

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I usually just record the music!

And as it’s coming altogether as a body of work, that’s when ideas start coming together...

Though I should plan my releases, I typically don’t!

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

A lot of live shows! I love performing!

A lot more music videos, clothing, merch...

And just me going further to build my platform to a top notch level

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

Yes I’m planning to record videos for all of my music real soon

It’s going to be amazing! I have never had a music video, and the ideas I have for what I want to do is mind blowing!

Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?

Yes! I’m working with a couple of mainstream producers

And it’s going to be amazing when I put out that music I have produced with them

My latest single Coast2twoCoast(Goin Viral) is produced by K.E. On The Track

I have a lot more on the way with him

And as far others I guess we will have to wait and see what the future holds for that!

What inspires your creative process?

Just the love and passion for making music

And the fact that God gave me a gift, after all that I have been through it inspires me to tell my story in the most creative way possible

What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?

'Off The Wall' - Michael Jackson

'Thriller' - Micheal Jackson

And 'Me Against The World' - 2pac...

And 'Ocean Eyes' - Owl City!

I grew up being inspired by Michael Jackson and his sound and movement always played a big part in my life

I remember hearing 'Off The Wall' and 'Thriller' for the first time when I was small and it made me be like wow I wanna make music that touches people's souls like this!

You can feel it when you're listening to it

2pac’s 'Me Against The World' was the same way, just more lyrical

And the way he would put emotion into his songs was amazing!

Owl City’s Ocean Eyes also had a soulful feeling on me

It gave me that feeling I got when I heard OTW and Thriller but I was much older and I could understand it more on a more mature level

It’s given me the inspiration to say I want my music to sound sonically different

And I want my sounds to be so different that it makes people cry or get emotional when they hear my music

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?

Well for the most part I make up my team!

I’m the one pushing the dream!

If it weren’t for me, this dream wouldn’t exist, so it’s all me

It can be very overwhelming at times but it is what it is!
