We caught up with A.B. Da Truth to talk about his music.
At Indiy we champion musicians. Let's get to it...
No restrictions on my creativity.
And the feeling of it’s me against the world.
I use an iMac, logic, and a Korg keyboard!
A fusion of R&B 'n' Trap!
A good song to me is something with a catchy hook and lyrics that ride to the beat well and support the song overall.
I want to work with an artist when I hear them create something good...
It makes me visualize the artist's untapped potential that with my assistance I could help the artist reach.
I mostly leave it to the artist to plan releases at this point.
But I believe I will be taking more control over when my music will be released.
I am working on several singles currently you can definitely expect new music in the next six months!
I’m excited about working with Reece 1200, Sada Baby, and YK Rose.
Other artists and vibes inspire me to create.
Jodeci's 'Diary of a Mad Band', because they represented classic R&B with mixed rap flavors.
The Chronic represented production excellence, seemed as tho Dr. Dre was the formula for success with any artist he worked with.
And 'All Eyez On Me', was any entire thug life, gangster vibe performed by arguably the greatest hip hop artist of all time, that was 2 Pacs best work.
