What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

Being able to come up with anything and say anything I want.

And being free to express myself.

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

I always have a go-to engineer and studio...

It allows me to focus in on making quality music.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

Honestly, I can’t tell what I love more!

I love the feelin' of laying a track, putting it together, hearing it back...

But I also enjoy meeting new people and extending my market.

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

I would want to hear how it made them feel...

Did it bring memories?

Or did it make you want to create memories?

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

Usually, I go to the studio on the weekend!

So that following Monday, you get a track!

And if I did two, or three...that mean ever Monday a new track!

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

'Streetz to the Booth', the debut album just released but I would be looking for the next HoodTalez v2 a mixtape series.

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

I don’t have videos but visuals and something to catch a feel!

Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?

What inspires your creative process?

Real life experience!

Being able to write what you feel is a blessing in itself!

What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?

Nas - Illmatic
Lil Wayne - Tha Carter II
And Silkk the Shocker - Charge It 2 da Game.

These albums are something I can still play from start to end...

Beats, lyrics...taught me the game!

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?

My creative team is my nephew, Javion, who helps record the visuals...

And myself ! I do the editing and promoting.

And I’ve also created a brand, which has allowed me to design my clothing 'ASBG'.
