We caught up with Brandon to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

Let's get to it...

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

Being able to have control over the direction, style, and authenticity of my music, while building my brand Hoss Nation.

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

I have a demo studio at the house with: a Mac, Apollo interface, Pro tools, Maschine MK3, Sennheiser, Shure mics, recording booth, fader board, etc.

But, when I make cuts, I always use studio and high live musicians.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy being a part of the creative process from writing to charting and arranging music with musicians and producers.

I like being able to find new melodies and harmonies and working with my producer to craft these tracks when telling my stories.

It’s my commitment to my music, my brand, and the fans!

Being an entrepreneur performing I get to showcase my personality, engage with the crowd, dance with them, and share my Bangtail whiskey to give them a truly unique experience!

And promo is fun because I’m constantly trying new ideas and bringing new merch, and other great surprises for my fans!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

A little gas with a little ass!

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I plan my releases along with my producer and PR firm.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

New music, festivals and shows...

And a bunch of surprises!

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

Yes for my latest single 'Locked Down'!

And check out my animated video for my song 'Yippee Ki Yay Yo' off my EP 'Dyin’ Breed'.

Are there any collaborations past or future that you are excited about, producers, artists, instrumentalists or songwriters?

Love working with Blake Shelton’s fiddle player Jenee Fleenor and CMA musician of the year 3 years in a row now!

And many others...

Adam Shoenfeld who is Jason Aldean's session guitarist!

Nick Buda on drums...Dave Francis on bass...Mike Rojas on keys, TJ Klay in harmonica...

Jon Conley (Kenny Chesney guitarist)...

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw...

Harmony singer Perry Coleman...

And John Willis on guitar, banjo and mandolin (who played for Brian McKnight)!

Also, my great producer, Kenny Royster, who cut 'Hurricane' for Luke Combs and many other great songs!

What inspires your creative process?

My real-life experiences to tell the stories for the people.

I am, and always want to be remembered one day with my legacy as “The Storyteller”.

What are your top three favorite albums of all time? Why those albums?

I don’t have a top 3 honestly!

I am inspired by the greats we know...

And continue to do everything to perfect my craft to make my listeners and the pioneers of country music proud.

Who makes up your existing creative team?i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout out?

Matt Watkins PR from Aristo Media...

Alejandro Medina III and Nathaniel Boyd are two of my great photographers.

Kevin Bing, my father, for helping maintain flows of opportunities for interviews, podcasts, and other press opportunities.

Sean Pettus and Noah Smith for my website brandonbingmusic.com.

And Chuck Floyd, my entertainment attorney, for helping me with my trademarks and industry paperwork for legal protections.

Where can we find you on social media?
