What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?
Telling my story and helping others.
If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?
I record, mix, and master everything myself using pro tools.
Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?
I enjoy it all!
How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?
Colby King really touched my heart with that last single!
Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?
Plan!
What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?
Three single releases...
And hopefully more gigs when the Corona is over!
Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?
I have a video shoot coming up, April 10th in Dallas, Tx for my single ‘Flip It’.
Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?
I did a song with Kevin Gates!
And I've got an upcoming single with singer Mr. McVay.
What inspires your creative process?
My personal experiences...The good and the bad!
What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?
Eminem - The Slim Shady LP
Juvenile - Project English
Dr. Dre - Chronic
These are all well-plotted albums with great sound and jams.
Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?
