What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

My freedom to create what I want.

And the fact that I'm able to distribute when I feel like it!

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

I go where I'm comfortable.

VIPs is the studio I use in VA...

And Nubirth is the studio I use in Brooklyn.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

Both!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

As a good vibe...

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

Finish and release!

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

I have an EP on the way!

It's going to be released on a Sony platform...

Also, got a few visuals dropping and a short film that I'm working on...

What inspires your creative process?

A beat that catches me, excites me!

A beat that tells me what to do!

What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?

Reasonable doubt...I could relate.

Notorious...I was feeling this vibe.

And 'Thank God for the Block'...I feel like I was at my best when I wrote this...

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?

Kevin Tucker...My dude makes sure everything is right...

And my main producer, Franam...he keeps me with heat!
