What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

Having my own control over my creations.

And being able to work at my own pace...for the most part!

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

Well, I engineer my own music...my setup is very independent.

It’s not the prettiest, but hearing my music, you wouldn’t think it had come out of such a small space lol.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy the recording and production part of music...I’m more so the creator.

Performing my material isn’t my strongest suit!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

"Creative", "free", "confidence" and just "pure fire".

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I try to plan my music releases but for the most part, I just work and release to push my music out more.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

I’m planning to release more visuals, working with more independent artists and try to get my music into more important hands this years.

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

Yes! I want to do more visual work now.

I think I have a look that a lot of listeners would love and appreciate.

But I don’t have many videos at the moment.

Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?

Just working more with my producer, Pyrex Black, who is from Detroit as well.

But I’m always willing to work with more dope artists!

What inspires your creative process?

What’s going on in the world and in my personal life.

Seeing events from others' lives and outcomes, and just keeping my eyes open.

The most simplest things can bring me inspiration by just thinking outside the box.

What are your top five favorite albums of all time and why those albums?

J Cole - KOD
Cole always been a storyteller and I know that’s not everyone’s favorite from him, but I really enjoyed the creativeness from him.

2pac - All Eyes On Me
He went against the odds and was going at everyone’s neck when he got out of jail. He had a chip on his shoulder.

Frank Ocean - Channel Orange
It’s just a calming project to listen to when I want to escape my own world.
