We caught up with Hanta Nashob aka RunningWolf1989 to talk about his music. Here at Indiy we champion musicians. So let's get to it...

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

I get to create the genre(s) and style(s) of music that I want to!

And my listeners don't get the same ole sounds from me!

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

I own my studio, do all my own engineering, mixing, and mastering.

I have a sound engineering degree.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy all aspects of music creation.

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

A mix of R&B meets my style rap on tha verses!

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

It depends on if I want to release the song for jus' promotion, or for sales.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

3 albums in the works...mixing an' mastering for many artists...plus composing an' producing for some major artists...

And new ones are happening this year!

What inspires your creative process?

It depends...it maybe social issues, it maybe life experiences, but I always tell a story in my lyrics.

What are your top three favorite albums of all time and why those albums?

Still too many, that I can't pick jus' 3!

I've been influenced by many different artists in multiple genres.
