What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

The luxury of being able to spend as much time as I need...

Whether it be a single or an EP that I’m working on.

I like to work step by step, in the process of recording a track, and sit on it for a while, play it a hundred or so times...

And being independent allows me just that!

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

Depending on the studio I use, however the setup is!

But usually it's simple...

MacBook Pro, Sennheiser headphones, Focusrite 2i2, Scarlett microphone.

As much as the setup matters, in a way, for me, energy is way more important...

Energy and attitude!

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I’m yet to perform live, so I can't answer the question truthfully...

However, as long as it’s music...I’m in!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

A song you can play anywhere!

Wherever the song plays, it’ll fit!

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

Usually, I will try to give myself a few weeks to build some hype around a release.

However, I’m human at the end of the day...

Sometimes I’m quite impulsive!

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

Expect a song, every 4-6 weeks.

Expect versatility.

And expect something you’d want to listen to on repeat!

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

Yes! We’re in the works of shooting a video for my single 'Cashmere' as we speak...

Due to the pandemic, it’s been quite hard working around it, but where there’s hope, there’s always a way!

Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?

I have a few singles in the works, with a few members of BeniGang, an east London creative collective.

We all have very different styles, musically and otherwise.

However the projects we are working on, do indeed sound harmonic.

What inspires your creative process?

Spontaneity, meeting new people, and Hennessy...
