What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

The ability to put out music that I love and not be told what should be said.

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

I use Cubase with an M-Audio interface.

And I do all mixing and mastering myself.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy every aspect of the music industry.

Mainly performing is my favorite.

I enjoy the rush I get on stage.

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

"TTWF was a complete masterpiece!"

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

In the beginning, I used to just record and release, but now I plan everything out.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

I have numerous projects in the works and I'm working on sealing a few gigs.

What inspires your creative process?

Real life! My environment and the people around me.

What are your top five favorite albums of all time and why those albums?

FWA by Lil Wayne - This album came out around a tough time period in my life and it helped me through my down days.

SYRE by Jaden Smith - I didn’t know the kid was spitting like that!! Caught me by surprise and I fell in love with his music ever since.

Marshall Mathers EP by Eminem - The very first tape I heard by Eminem, my idol!! It made me want to express myself via song.

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?

At the moment it’s all me!!! But big shout out to the GDUP family.
