We caught up with LB Level to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

Let's get to it...

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

What I enjoy most about being an independent musician is knowing that...

I have control over the sound of my music...

Where my music goes, what songs are distributed, etc.

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

To be completely honest...

I'm just a musician in his closet with a 200 dollar mic, a computer, and some skills in mixing and engineering myself!

I don't hire a studio because I don't have the money to do so!

But I am trying my best to create an album!

And show people what I can do, with what I have!

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy every aspect of the music industry...

Whether it be the recording and production or performing live and promoting or even marketing!

I picked the music industry for a reason!

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

I want people to say that listening to my songs gave them goosebumps...

And made them emotional because of how deep and relatable it is.

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I create a project and then I plan when I will release it from there.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

In the next 6 months, I most likely will not be doing gigs...

But I will be probably releasing an album and some singles.

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!

I haven't planned any videos yet...

But I do plan to create a video for at least one of my songs.

Are there any collaborations past or future that you are excited about, producers, artists, instrumentalists or songwriters?

This rapper named BOSS MAN and I are planning to make a song together sometime soon!

What inspires your creative process?

I am a very creative person myself!

So when I think about creating something unique and hopefully amazing...

It obviously inspires me to make it.

What are your top three favorite albums of all time? Why those albums?

My top three favorite albums of all time are...

The Marshall Mathers LP, Illmatic, and Queen II.

These are my all-time favorites simply because they represent the classics.

And I can't appreciate any type of music more than the classics!

Who makes up your existing creative team?i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout out?

All I have are me and my friend that helps me with all the aspects of my music...

Shout out to him he's my best and most trusted friend!
