We caught up with LilYoungMoneyBabyRocket to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

I make songs about the people that I love & that I lost.

Making music keeps me up when I'm feeling down or feeling alone.

Soundcloud is where I post my music to and it's been a long time since I been in the studio but I rap on the rapchat app.

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

I don't have a studio.

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

I'm a supporter, an influence, a movement & a speak-to-people person.

What makes a good song in your opinion?

A good song is when you put your heart into the song, to make sure people feel as you do about it.

People can say your song is trash but as long as it's not to you, that's all that matters.

How do you know when you want to work with an artist or group or band?

I see a lot in people, as a 17-year-old influencer I love to be solo, but I got to rap with those that I like.

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I plan it cause I'm not with a label.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

I'm going to make a lot of songs, I'm trying to make rapping full-time 'cause I need the money.

Are there any collaborations past or future that you are excited about, producers, artists, instrumentalists, or songwriters?

It all comes from the head.

Love, happiness, sadness.

I'm not super famous on Instagram, my main page is @the_kid_kingmoneyk16 & there I have 1,514 followers!
