What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?
Being an independent artist...it's a blessing and I love it!
What I enjoy most about it is the freedom that I have and the creative control of my work.
If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?
I do have my own studio and my go-to gears when I am recording are 1.Neve 1073, 2. LA-2A S, with Slate digital ml-1 Mac.
Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?
I enjoy every single one of them!
Recording, production, performing, and of course, promotion!
Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?
I do plan my music releases ahead.
What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?
In the next 6 months I will be releasing three songs separately...
One in every two months.
Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?
Yes, I have a video planned for all my releases that are coming out now and I also have over 10 music videos that are out already...for more details on that check out www.lovejimo.no
Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?
Yes indeed, I am very excited about my latest collaboration with one talented producer, songwriter and artist from Lagos, Nigeria.
What inspires your creative process?
By watching series!
And reading poems inspires my creative process too!
What are your top three favorite albums of all time?
The Blueprint by Jay-Z, Beerbongs & Bentleys by Post Malone, and A Good Time by Davido
Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?
