What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?
I love the freedom of creativity and image!
If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?
When I look over my shoulder my engineer is there, along with a trusted friend...Definitely good software!
Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?
I enjoy all aspects of music including production, recording, and promotion!
How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?
My latest project 'Everything Up Down' is...
"The book you've been waiting to read...the tea you been wanting to taste".
Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?
I plan my releases carefully.
What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?
In 6 months my EP, 'OMGRUOK?' will be trending!
Along with a few collaborative projects.
Hopefully shows will be booked...if the pandemic subsides!
Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?
I am definitely planning a video for my track 'Everything Up Down.
It has so much attention right now!
Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?
I have some collaborative projects coming up with other indie artists alike.
And I'm shooting for a well-known artist, but I prefer new up-and-coming people!
What inspires your creative process?
Life struggles, heartbreaks, world events are just a few things that help get my engines going
What is your favorite album of all time?
I have two albums I created that I really like!
And an EP that I think will be good for the industry...
But this new EP album 'OMGRUOK?' is my favorite right now.
Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?
I'm a self- sufficient artist wearing many hats!
But I will shout out my mom, who is also my manager and who keeps me thinking!
