We caught up with Stonaa Wulf to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

Let’s get to it…

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

What I enjoy most about independent is being able to make and release music whenever I want.

I have to be my own boss because I’m not good at taking orders!

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

My brother has a studio and I record there…

He has a computer, pro tools software and a microphone.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy recording and performing.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to produce yet.

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

I would want people to describe my latest single as a smooth and melodic song.

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I plan my music releases.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

What you can expect is a lot of music releasing, I mean literally, I plan on releasing them this year and yes definitely future gigs.

I am always ready to perform!

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

Yes! I plan on doing music videos and no I do not have any videos released yet.

Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?

No…I do not have collaborations yet, but yes I see myself working with a few artists in the future.

What inspires your creative process?

Being equal with the beat!

What I mean is…whatever the beat sounds like whether it’s a hype beat or a chill beat…

I will make a song related to the beat…I just flow with it!

What are your top three favorite albums of all time and why those albums?

My top three favorite albums are…

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony “East 1999 Eternal”
Snoop Dogg “D*ggyStyle
And Three 6 Mafia “Mystic Stylez”.

I choose these three because I love melodic, harmony music whether it’s rapping or R&B…and all three of these artists definitely do both!

I love artists who are original and different.

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?

Unfortunately I have none of these things just yet.

Where can we find you on social media?
