What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?
I enjoy the music making process the most.
I think that's what drives me to continue pushing.
If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?
I hire an engineer!
Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?
I really enjoy recording...
But I can't wait until I get the opportunity to perform!
It's all I think about these days!
How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?
"This kid is talented" is the exact phrase I'd want to hear.
Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?
I plan them for sure!
What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?
Expect a couple more EPs coming out this year for sure!
I'm looking around for gigs...
But due to Covid-19, it's a bit difficult!
Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?
Yes! A video for 'No Relations' and 'Prag the Punk' should be coming out real soon!
Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?
Of course!
But I'm not into talking about other people too much...
What inspires your creative process?
It all started with a girl!
But really the frequency of the beat determines the kind of creative bag I want to dive into...
So I'd say instrumentals for sure!
What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?
Good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West
And Control System by Ab-Soul
They all tell really good stories, each one in their own creative ways.
Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?
