We caught up with Trill Treal to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.
Let's get to it...
Having creative control and being able to watch myself grow as an artist.
I try to record wherever there's a studio!
I might be in a professional setting, or I might be in a trailer park!
I like both recording and performing.
To create a song then perform it and see how the crowd reacts...
It's a beautiful thing!
"Dope!"
It all depends on how I feel about the song or the project.
The last mixtapes I drop were planned releases...
I can release a single at any time!
I'm currently looking at two major recording contracts that I'm looking forward to signing!
I didn't know it cost so much for lawyers to look over recording contracts!
And as soon as I get the money up, I'm going to have them reviewed!
I'm also working on releasing 'Trill Sh*t 2'.
As of now, I'm working on two projects at the same time!
The other project is called 'Way Past Due'.
Basically I'm saying that I should have been major by now...
In other words I'm working!
Of course!
I want professional quality from known videographers.
I had videos and deleted them when I was unhappy with my career as I had a mental breakdown, but videos are coming!
I'm excited about working with Boosie Badazz.
We had a chat about a collab but I don't wanna speak too heavily on it just yet!
The instrumentals I'm listening to and what I feel like the beat is saying to me...
Plus whatever I'm going through at the time being!
Back for the First Time by Ludacris
Nellyville by Nelly
And 400 Degreez by Juvenile
The reason why I chose these albums is that I can play them from beginning to end...
And also because mostly no one knew about these artists before they released those albums.
My late best friend, Marcellus Hollis, deserves a special shout out.
As many times I wanted to give up on my career, he kept pushing me to keep going.
He is amongst the very few people who kept me going...RIP BRO!
I went through a mental depression and deleted all my social media due to the fact that I wasn't happy with my music career at the time!
But I'll have media accounts back up and running soon...
