What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

The love I receive from my craft!

It makes me keep going!

Just to know that every single person I run across loves me for the music I bring into the world...it keeps me going and going!

That’s what makes me love being independent...

Because it tells me that all my hard work that I put in myself is worth it!

To see my results!

Plus it's my compensation, as I don’t have to give all of it away when I put in 100% of the work...

That’s what made me love being independent!

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

Well, yes I do have a studio at the moment!

I love going to Patch Work Studios...

The best engineers!

I’m not a studio owner myself, so I have to rely on one...

Otherwise you would catch me in a studio more often!

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

I enjoy them both....

Recording and production!

Because at the same time it’s all in the character mode.

Once I step into the room at the time to perform, or record, I automatically turn on my character mode.

And it’s all acting for me!

So it feels good to be in that environment, because I know it’s showtime!

And I definitely love performing live!

The feeling is never something you can explain...

But it's one of the best feelings you can have!

From either doing this type of performing or receiving promotions.

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

"#UNO’DABOSS created his own lane in the music game!"

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

I’m going to plan it, so I know that my audience is ready for what I have next!

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

Well the next 6 months is about to be very interesting...

There will be a lot more new songs being released through United Masters...

For the whole month of March I have a song dropping every week to start off my six month campaign!

Be on the lookout!

I got new song am about to drop with Artist, ELI X...

He's an artist from the ovo camp, so stay on the lookout!

There's massive content of visual videos coming.

I have a show coming up in New Orleans at the clout festival in February.

And I’m scheduled to perform in West Africa sometime later this year.

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?

I have a video that’s about to drop on United Masters called 'Bandos'.

And right now I am in the midst of planning over five more videos for visuals throughout my 6 month campaign...

Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?

Well, I have one collaboration that I am excited about for the upcoming future!

It's with an artist from XOXO Camp called ELI X...

And I know we gon' make history with the song we make!

What inspires your creative process?

No cap...everyday life to be honest!

That's what does it for me man!

It’s all from feelings that music is born!

And for me it's through my emotions and what I go through...

So what inspires me, is being able to take my emotions and put them into words...

You feel them by me saying them, but you're really feeling how I feel...

So we understand each other!

That’s what inspires me and keeps me wanting to do music...

For the love I constantly receive for it!

What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?

Eminem's LP
50 Cent 'Get Rich or Die Tryin''
And Kanye West 'The College Dropout'...

Well, Eminem has always been an idol of mine!

But at this time of his scrabble, I really felt it, because as always Eminem told us a story...

And the way his stories are told...

The picture was painted so clearly!

And it made me feel his songs, more and more!

Because I was in similar situations, so I could relate to it...

I had just become a young man, that had run away from home so the street life was all I had and what I knew!

So every day to me it was about getting rich on the train!

And then 50 came out with this Get Rich or Die Tryin' album.

And in every song, there was more of a movement than just me liking it...

Because it was a hustler motivation type album.

And I was caught in the middle of trying to determine how to live this life as a young man in the streets of New Orleans, Louisiana...

Alone for the first time!

Surviving and trying to make ends meet on my own, with no help!

So that’s why this album was so attached to me, and I to it!

Now 'The College Dropout'...

At the time this album hit the scene, I was pretty much in the boat with Kanye West with losing loved ones...

So he has songs on there relating to the family struggles.

And that's what kept his songs with me...

Me and my family can relate.

Who makes up your existing creative team?
i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout-out?

I have to give a shout-out to my photographer, Ashley, from #AshleyFilms.

My video shoot would not go as smooth and as awesome as they do if I am without Zuto Films.
