We caught up with V.C.K Sodah to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?
I'd rather be signed to a major label!
If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?
Cubase 11, Lauten audio la-320, audient id14, macbook pro, se electronics space shield & a pop filter.
Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?
I really enjoy recording with some minor production tweaks.
I like performing live more!
Because I enjoy the crowds and party scene.
Promotion is cool when I actually have a budget for that yeah!
How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?
Hardcore & deep.
Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?
The fun part is to have a release date...
That brings excitement!
What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?
I want to release an e.p or a mixtape between June and September.
And I'm working on a new album called v.c.k da heat which I'm gettin' ready to release this fall.
It's a prequel to my next album!
Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about!?
No not at the moment!
Are there any collaborations, past or future, that you are excited about?
Yea I got a feature with Kurupt, an American rapper.
And I got this icons pack from annodominination & legion beats full of collaborations.
What inspires your creative process?
My attitude and my lyrics.
What are your top three favorite albums of all time & why?
I'm embarrassed to say since we beefing but Three 6 Mafia - Most Known Unknown...
Project Pat - Walkin' Bank Roll.
And 2Pac Loyal To The Game.
Because it's real street music!
Who makes up your existing creative team?
