We caught up with WHYZED to talk about his music. At Indiy we champion musicians.

Let's get to it...

What do you enjoy most about being an independent musician?

In addition to being a composer of modern genres, I am currently studying in the field of technical orthopaedics and I am very satisfied with this field and I really like to compose music in a completely professional and To move forward perfectly and show my art to the whole world

If we were to peek over your shoulder, what does your studio look like? What gear do you typically use?

My studio room is actually my personal room that I turned into a home studio and the following products along with a relatively good home computer system help me in making my music:

  • Sound card: Behringer UMC22
  • Headphones: Sennheiser HD 280 Pro
  • Microphone: AKG Perception P120 - Black
  • Monitoring speaker: Presonus Eris E4.5
  • Midi controller: AKAI MPK Mini MK3

Do you always hire a studio or have a go to engineer?

I don't go to a specific person to make my music, most of the time, but I may work with some people who are more skilled or creative than me.

Do you enjoy recording and production, or do you like performing live and promotion?

In my opinion, making music is like morphine for the brain, and whenever I have mental and emotional problems, the first thing I do is turn on my computer and start making beats. But I always wanted to share these moments live with my fans. why not !

How would you want people to describe your latest project in a tweet?

The best fusion of Persian and world music that I have ever heard !

Do you plan your music releases, or do you just finish a song and release it?

To say that all my music is released with prior planning is completely contrary to reality, but I have always tried to follow my work plans and move forward according to a correct pattern, but you never know about the events in advance, so you want to plan according to them. pick up

WHYZED

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?

About 6 months ago, I started a very big start-up project in Iranian music with my friends and its name is IRANTEMPO , and I hope to tell you in the next 6 months that I am the owner of the biggest site for selling beats and music services in Iran 🙂

Are you planning any videos for your music? Are there any videos we need to know about?

Usually, my posts on social networks have collaborations with people active in the field of visual arts, and I always tried to make the audience use their eyes in addition to their ears to understand the work. You can visit my social networks on YouTube and Instagram

Are there any collaborations past or future that you are excited about, producers, artists, instrumentalists or songwriters?

Certainly. From my collaborations in the UK and UAE markets, it can be mentioned that in the near future, this work will be broadcast from me, which is in the genre of drill. This music has an Iranian melody, but an English performance is performed on it. In the past, I had many collaborations with composers such as RezaDead and Haani Khadem, etc., in addition to working with talented Iranian rapper artists who are newly emerging and not very well known, such as Hesam Artman in Gorgan and Eriba. who for the first time performed the drill genre in Luri language from the city of Khorramabad, which I am originally from this city but I live in Tehran.

What inspires your creative process?

Certainly Persian melodies and songs have inspired most of my works in the production of modern genres of the world throughout my career and will continue to be. This is not an empty slogan that I am Iranian, but in all my works, in addition to the type beats that I made for others, I tried to always consider the compilation works as my most important works in the field of music.

What are your top three favorite albums of all time? Why those albums?

Faith From Pop Smoke :
so many hit drill tracks from it.

Beerbongs and Bentleys from Post Malone :
The beauty as much as possible in the choice of different styles of rap and rap and the very pleasant voice of post malone in the tracks and extremely catchy melodies along with the very clean and standard mix.

Donda froms kanye West :
Change in interesting insights and beliefs and their selection in music text and music melody

Who makes up your existing creative team? i.e. photographers, video directors, social media managers, paid media specialists, stylists, hair, and makeup…Name someone who you think deserves a special shout out?

My team is currently known as Iran Tempo, and the most important person in this team is Amir Hossein, nicknamed Mirsub, who has been working in music for 3 years, is my close friend for 8 years, and is the designer of the irantempo.com website. Amir Ali (Leon), Mehdi (Mosser) and Nima (Revolt) are among the members of the social media team. Each of these people are artists in music and their work is worth mentioning! Along with the social media team, there are graphic artists named Masked and Ehsawn who work hard on graphics and cover arst.
